"Pałac Komierowo Tennis Cup" - a charity event for Błażej Lewandowski suffering from epidermolysis bullosa.

On May 7-8, 2021, the "Pałac Komierowo Tennis Cup" tournament took place at the tennis courts of Pałac Komierowo. The event was charitable and aimed to support the young resident of Komierowo, Błażej Lewandowski, who suffers from epidermolysis bullosa. A star-studded lineup connected to the Actors' Tennis Club competed in exciting matches for little Błażej.


Famous actors, comedians, and media personalities appeared on the courts. Special guests included, among others, Przemysław Sadowski, Krzysztof Hanke, Robert Janowski, Maurycy Polaski, Tomasz Stockinger, Karol Strasburger, Tomasz Gęsikowski, Jerzy Janowicz – senior, and Andrzej Mytych. The first day of the competition, Friday, was dedicated to doubles eliminations, and in sunny weather and a great atmosphere, the competition on the courts was very intense.
On Saturday morning, the semifinals and final of the tournament were held. Although the weather was capricious, the spirit of sports competition and excellent moods of the players remained at the highest level, additionally supported by the awareness of the noble goal. The winners of the first edition of the "Pałac Komierowo Tennis Cup" were Robert Janowski and Jerzy Janowicz senior, who defeated the duo Tomasz Gęsikowski and Krzysztof Hanke in the final. Third place was won by Przemysław Sadowski and Tomasz Stockinger, triumphing over the pair Maurycy Polaski and Karol Strasburger.


At the end of the charity tournament, a gift-giving ceremony took place for little Błażej, funded by the participants. The tournament stars were also honored with commemorative diplomas and trophies.
